  • HeiQ Success Story: Why did you decide to bring this success story to the Odoo Experience stage?


The goal is to describe the result of the collaboration with the Customer, i.e. the creation of an intelligent solution that could respond to legal requirements that the software did not fully comply with. The Odoo Experience represents the stage to expose cases in which, with the right changes, the software can exponentially improve its functionality for medium and large companies.

  • What goals did the company want to achieve?


HeiQ, with the help of Rapsodoo, wanted to optimize the revenue recognition process based on Incoterms: contractual terms, codified by the International Chamber of Commerce.

  • Which Odoo solution was decided to implement and what benefits did the company get?


We implemented a system to comply with the international standards of Incoterms. As benefits, the customer was able to respond to the international rules on revenue recognition and therefore optimize group accounting in line with international systems.

  • Each case study brings with it qualitative and/or quantitative results. By talking about what HeiQ has achieved, what do you want to convey to other companies?


With this Case Study we want to demonstrate that a correct design of business processes and requirements is essential to outline together with the customer a solution that at the same time responds to needs, is easily configurable and maintains the standard logic of the software as much as possible, reducing risks and future updates to a minimum.
